Refund Policy
we are committed to providing high-quality legal services with professionalism and integrity. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be considered. Because legal services involve time, expertise, and professional effort, refunds are generally limited and subject to the terms below.
1. Non-Refundable Professional Fees
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing:
-
Consultation fees, retainers, and professional service fees are non-refundable.
-
Fees are charged for the time, attention, and professional work provided, not for particular outcomes.
-
Once a lawyer has begun work on a matter, the fees paid are considered earned.
2. Refunds for Unused Retainers
If you have paid a retainer (advance payment on account) for ongoing work:
-
Any unused portion of the retainer may be refundable upon written request.
-
Refunds apply only after deducting:
-
Time spent on your matter
-
Costs incurred
-
Administrative or government fees paid on your behalf
-
A final invoice and summary of work performed will be provided.
3. Government Fees, Court Fees & Third-Party Costs
Payments made to third parties—such as:
-
government authorities,
-
courts,
-
experts,
-
translators,
-
investigators,
-
notaries,
are strictly non-refundable, as these are not controlled by us and cannot be reversed.
4. Circumstances Where Refunds May Be Considered
A refund may be considered only if:
-
You paid for a service that we did not initiate or perform, AND
-
No legal work, research, preparation, or consultation has begun, AND
-
No third-party or government fees have been incurred.
Any discretionary refund will be processed after assessment by the firm’s management.
5. Cancellation of Legal Services
If you choose to terminate our services:
-
You must notify us in writing.
-
You will be billed for all work completed up to the termination date.
-
Any unused retainer balance (if applicable) will be refunded after deductions for work performed and expenses incurred.
6. No Refunds for Case Outcomes
Because legal matters are subject to laws, facts, court decisions, and third-party actions:
-
We do not guarantee outcomes.
-
No refunds will be provided based on dissatisfaction with the result of a case or legal decision.
7. Refund Process
